Emmanuel Buetey Noah Jr.

CEO, BenBen

Raised in Accra, Ghana, Emmanuel has witnessed first hand the bottlenecks present in the country’s land administration system. After his studies at the University of Michigan, Emmanuel returned to Ghana in 2015 where he undertook an 18-month Gates Foundation-funded research project at the country’s Lands Commission. There, he was able to foster strong government relations at the Lands Commission and build a team of fellow innovators to tackle the roadblocks in the Commission's path towards digitalisation and BenBen was born. Emmanuel is an alumnus of the 2016 Barclays Rise Accelerator Programme and a recognized United Nations Solutions Maker and graduate of the 2016 United Nations Solutions Summit Cohort. As of today, Emmanuel continues to guide BenBen as CEO and oversees its projects with various financial institutions. He advises the Government of Ghana on Property Reform issues in his capacity as a technical specialist on the Property Reforms Working Group under the Business Regulatory Reforms Initiative of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
