Martin Mbaya is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of: EnAdIn, short for Endowment Advisor Innovator Ltd., a Kenya-based start-up offering services and advice in finance, education and technology. He also helped start the Utawala Applied Research Institute - a legacy organization resulting from a 2013-2014 Ford Foundation grant to Strathmore University in support of Devolution efforts in Kenya; and Nairobi Capital Inc. – an investor-backed financial services and real estate firm based in the U.S. with operations in Kenya. He was also active in starting an MIT-based initiative facilitating MIT student-led entrepreneurship efforts globally since 2000. Martin is also a Trustee of the Alliance High School Endowment Fund; an Advisor to the African Management Initiative; an adjunct lecturer at Strathmore Law School; and a member of the East African chapter of Africa 2.0 focused on entrepreneurship. Previously Martin spent over a decade working in the US and Kenya focused on technology, research and financial services.
